Nantucket has become a very special place to our family. This summer I spent over a month on the island with the kids. The island is quaint and charming, the weather is beautiful (during the summer, that is) and the people are so nice and friendly. I would take a walk with my kids every morning to get coffee and then go to the Children’s Beach near town. These pictures were all taken at the Brant Point Lighthouse; a famous lighthouse on the island with amazing views of the harbor. It was a hot day but we still had fun. Jack liked using the pathway to the lighthouse as his own personal runway to show off his look! Nantucket definitely has its own dress code which is super preppy. There is even a color called “Nantucket Red”. I do not conform entirely to what others wear because it is not my style but I do love dressing nautical and dressing my kids in red, white and blue in the summer. I am so happy I have these amazing pictures to share and look back on with my kids. Such special moments captured in time.
