Shirts that Speak Volumes

There is nothing I love more than a piece of clothing that is classic but has a unique edge that makes it memorable and unique. One of my favorite new designers is Monse. The designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia started their line after spending years directing the design team at Oscar de la Renta. As a matter of fact, they recently returned to Oscar de la Renta as co-creative directors but will also maintain their own brand as well. I love their reinterpretation of classic shirting. This black blouse I am wearing, by Monse, has a very voluminous back and pointed wide neck line. The oversize buttons and sleeve cuff make the shirt edgy but also sophisticated. That is what I love about the line in general. It is very classic and sophisticated with an unexpected edge. I paired the top with simple skinny jeans and classic accessories.
