Ready for Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year in Manhattan. The weather is crisp and cool, everyone is back from their summer getaways and I love the clothing. My son Jack turned two this summer and we decided to put him in school this Fall. I can’t wait to see how he changes, grows and learns from his new experiences and being around other children his age. He is a very outgoing boy and has already been named the “class clown” during his first week. I am not sure if that is a good thing but I take it as he is adjusting well.

These pictures were taken during our walk after school one day last week. It was one of our first cool days and I was so excited to dress Jack in this sweater. I am obsessed with the colors and the Tiger on the front. They actually make the same sweater in an adult size too but I prefer the kids version. The Balenciaga tote I am wearing is one of the first bags designed under the new designer Demna Gvesalia. The bag clearly draws inspiration from the cheap nylon bags that many people, including homeless New Yorkers carry around to haul big items. For those who do not know, Demna is also the designer behind the brand Vetaments which now has a cult following but is also controversial. I personally love the colors and the leather panels on the bag are quite beautiful. It is also the perfect size for travel and for lugging around all of my kids belongings. The bag comes in three different color options all shown below.
