I always love black and white together. I think this blouse by Proenza Schouler is classic and timeless and has an edge with the black tie at the front. These pants I have had for over five years. I love them and was actually pleasantly surprised when they fit me. This just goes to show you that if you buy classic and timeless styles you can wear them year after year and nobody will have any idea what season they are from. I try to think this way even when shopping at stores like H&M and Zara. It is always fun to buy a trendy piece here and there but you should always stick away from the trends and go for more classic pieces and depending on how you accessorize them nobody will be able to tell if its a $100 jacket or a $2,000 jacket. The trendy pieces tend to be more obvious. This clutch from The Row was a lucky find on Ebay. I was able to bargain it down for less than half the retail price of the bag. This made me so happy when I kept seeing it at Barneys for full price. It is beautifully made and a classic style. I also love how it is clean and understated.
