When I started Caviar Lipstick I knew that one thing I wanted to do was inspire people by showcasing the works of creative types in many different industries whether it be fashion, interior design or the art world. This is my first interview and I am so excited for you to learn more about ALL SWIM.

One of my closest and dearest friends Lindsay Lullman and her partner Andy Gimeno recently launched their swimwear line ALL SWIM in 2015. The line is based in Barcelona and all of the swimwear is made in Spain. Lindsay comes from a background as a fashion model while Andy brings her knowledge and expertise from studying fashion design. Together they work on the collection from concept to finished product.

This season ALL SWIM partnered with artist Stefan Brüggemann on a limited edition graffiti art print for the swimwear that is bold and fashion forward which I love. Brüggemann is a young artist from Mexico City who has received international attention for his work. You will see some beautiful images of the well known model Arizona Muse wearing some of ALL SWIM’s styles that feature the graffiti print below. The company also introduced their first collection of men’s swimwear this season as well.

Although Lindsay spends most of her time in Spain and London where she resides, I always get to see her when she visits New York. Last week I had the chance to sit down with her and chat about ALL SWIM. I hope that she inspires you as much as she does me!

1) Where are you from?

I was born in The Woodlands, Texas but grew up in St. Louis, Missouri 😉

 

 2) What made you decide to start All Swim?

Andy (my partner) and I decided over two years ago that we wanted to start a fashion project. Swimwear was something that we have always struggled to find so we went from there!

 

3) What inspires you when creating a new collection?

I think I get more inspired with what I am wanting in my wardrobe and what I feel is missing.

 

4) How did you learn how to design swimwear? 

My partner Andy is incredibly talented. She studied fashion design in Barcelona but we both decide on the styles, final designs, materials and prints we want.

 

5) What describes your style and design best?

Comfortable, laid back & FUN!

 

6) You guys both look amazing in the swimsuits. What do you do to stay healthy?

I have been an avid horse rider since I could walk but to stay fit Pilates is my thing !

 

7) What were you doing before All-Swim?

I was a full time fashion model. I still am modeling and feel very lucky that I get to do both!

 

8) What are your aspirations for your business?

I would love ALL SWIM to be a staple for women and to see it in Barneys or on Net A Porter !

 

9) Who is your muse?

I don’t have a specific muse. I look up to any woman who is pursuing what she loves and is making our world a better place!

 

10) Which designers do you love right now and why? (Not Swimwear necessarily)

The designers I always have loved are Eres and Missoni. They are so chic and simple!
